Media Coordinator

Full-Time in Rochester, NY - Associate - Media + Insights - $50k - $58k

Practice Summary – Manages all aspects of digital media advertising campaigns using native and third-party tools. To achieve this goal, the Media Coordinator will pursue three strategies:

  • Assist in campaign development and execution
  • Develop expertise in the ways of all digital media ad platforms
  • Combine data analysis with best practices to exceed client expectations

Success In This Role Means

  • Maintain organized tracking and documentation relative to campaign execution
  • Error-free implementation of campaign tactics and strategies
  • Insightful and relevant analysis of media campaigns and client business


Responsibilities

Planning

  • Navigate platforms to assist in developing comprehensive digital marketing strategies
  • Maintain knowledge of the client’s business, goals, and KPIs

Activation

  • Work with digital ad platforms and third-party media buying tools to execute paid media campaigns
  • Implement and manage website tracking, including site tagging and analytics
  • Diligently track and document campaign status and performance
  • Provide optimization recommendations to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of paid media campaigns
  • Maintain an understanding of program elements – can answer questions pertaining to the status of paid media campaigns

Analysis

  • Support analytics with data collection and report-building
  • Develop skills to support drawing campaign insights to build actionable takeaways for internal teams

Organizational

  • Maintain an understanding of the dynamic digital ecosystem (search, social, native, display, video, audio) and how channels work together
  • Seek feedback from peers and management on ways to improve individual performance


Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of digital media experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Base skills in Excel (pivot tables and advanced formulas) preferred
  • Understanding of fundamental ads metrics and media math
  • Strong analytics, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Experience or working knowledge of digital media tools and platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Facebook Blueprint and Google Skillshop are preferred, but not required
